Teletherapy

Therapy doesn’t have to happen in the office.

Telehealth offers the flexibility to meet from the comfort and privacy of your own space, whether you’re at home, traveling within California, or simply prefer meeting virtually. I offer secure video sessions for clients who are physically located in California at the time of their appointment. Telehealth sessions are similar to meeting in person—we’ll have the same space to talk, reflect, and work together, just from a different setting. For the best experience, I recommend joining from a private, quiet space where you can speak openly without interruptions. Make sure to have a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.

Privacy & Safety

Your privacy is important to me. Telehealth sessions are conducted using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, and I encourage you to choose a private space for your sessions whenever possible. Because telehealth takes place remotely, there are a few additional safety considerations. At the beginning of our work together, I’ll collect your current location and emergency contact information so that we have a plan in place if an urgent situation arises during a session.

Telehealth isn’t the right fit for everyone or every situation. Before beginning therapy, we’ll talk together about your needs, circumstances, and goals to determine whether telehealth is an appropriate and effective option for you. This can also be revisited as your needs change throughout therapy.
